🔋 Nottingham Top UK City for EV Adoption
Recent research has revealed the UK cities most open to electric vehicles, with Nottingham topping the nationwide list. 21% of Nottingham drivers are planning to switch to EVs at their next car change, which will support the city’s movement towards more sustainable transport.
🤝 Broadmarsh Site Sale Officially Approved
Nottingham City Council's approval of the Broad Marsh site sale represents a major step forward in the development of the city. With the land now set to be sold to a buyer with a strong development track record, this deal will create more than 1,000 homes, up to 20,000 square metres of retail, office and community spaces and around 2,000 full-time jobs.
🏑 University of Nottingham Sets Record with 11 National Sports Titles
University of Nottingham student athletes excelled at the BUCS Big Wednesday national championships, securing 11 titles across various sports, including wheelchair basketball, table tennis, hockey, fencing, and more. The event, held at Loughborough University, saw a record 31 Nottingham teams reach the finals, reinforcing the university's position as the UK's top institution for team sports.

🏆 Forest Women Win National League Cup
Huge congratulations to Nottingham Forest women who won the National League Cup final, beating Stoke City 3-1. A brace from Charlie Wellings and a Mel Johnson strike clinched the trophy for Forest after a fantastic performance!

Expect a cosy cocktail bar on Friar Lane, just a stone's throw from Nottingham Castle. While the exact opening date is TBC, it is likely to be around May.
From Beeston to the City: Four Chefs Brings Greek Delights to Nottingham
The Moustaferis family, known for Beeston's beloved Kellari, have launched Four Chefs in Nottingham's city centre. Located on St James's Terrace, this new spot offers authentic Greek street food, including gyros with various fillings and traditional pastries like baklava and galaktoboureko. The venue provides both dine-in and takeaway options, with an upstairs seating area for up to 18 guests.
